Lips 2024

The submission period for the 2024 issue #59/60 of Lips poetry magazine is now closed. The editor and readers are now reviewing poems and making their selections.

Notifications for accepted and declined submissions will be sent on a rolling basis in December and January.

The 2024 Lips will be part of a celebratory reading by some of the included poets, tentatively scheduled for June 2024.

The submission period for Lips is September through November for the annual issue to be published in the following year. No submissions are considered at other times.

All submissions must be done through our Submittable account. If you do not have a free Submittable account, you will need to create one there first to submit poems or order back issues.

Submissions for the Laura Boss Narrative Poetry Award for an unpublished manuscript of narrative poetry open on January 1 and close on March 31.
